Support and utility units decide whether your DPS tier list matters. S-tier supports

Apathetic Savior (Door)

Door is the poster support of the current era for many boards. Lunar Bridge acquisition paths made it a grind trophy, and the kit’s control / enable patterns justify the work. If you own Door, it is often the first unit you build around rather than the last flex slot. Trait it carefully — you want the support online every clear, not benched for a marginally prettier DPS shiny.

Holy Deceiver (Dark)

Holy Deceiver blurs support and damage. Rank it here because the utility half of the kit changes how lanes behave, not only how fast a boss dies. In Team Battle and modifier-heavy modes, Deceiver’s flexibility outpaces pure glass cannons. Build it even if your DPS Units page already looks stacked.

Divalo (Requiem)

Divalo remains a meta support / pressure hybrid. Anniversary-style gem banner returns increase access. When Divalo is online with Rogita-era partners, the board gains both safety and damage routes. Invest memoria and traits with long-term intent.

Exclusive spotlight: Wrath (Assault) as Evils buffer

Wrath (Assault) is why this season is branded Wrathful Assault. It is an Exclusive Curse unit tuned to power Evils teams:

• Large buffs to Curse damage and Evils units
• Extra Evils damage for each different element on your unit bar
• Free placement once another Evils unit exists; mirrors Evils upgrades
• Despair / Destruction application, shield break, DoT amplification
• Crit-linked splash and follow-up crit setup for Evils partners
• Active The Power of Friends — multiplies an Evils active by 4 onto the highest-HP target
• Mind Control tax every 3 waves until defeated enough times

Wrath is the rare support that also demands DPS discipline: you must kill the Mind Controlled form, then resume buffing. Practice on Normal content before you take an unfinished Wrath into Hard Wrath Event.

High A-tier utility

• Graceful Pilot (Mecha) — prior pass Exclusive still shipping utility and lane tools.
• Star Crusader (Platinum) — Holy Exclusive with time-stop identity; hybrid support/DPS depending on build.
• Friran (Teacher) / teacher-line supports — enable student and Dragon Sphere packages.
• Boohan (Evil) and Evils package supports — feed the same tag Wrath cares about.
• Farm units with Fortune — not flashy, but the highest win-rate “support” in the game is still gold on time. See Traits and Rerolls.

Familiar-enabled utility

Wrath Event familiars cost 1,000 coins and turn specific units into new support/DPS hybrids:

• Holy Sword on Saber lines
• Iron Helmet on The Falcon
• Blacksmith’s Hammer on The Smith (farm conversion)
• Scrap Bluntsword on NotGoodGuy
• Witch’s Staff on Medea

How to slot supports

1. Economy first — Fortune farm.
2. Primary enabler — Door / Deceiver / Divalo / Wrath depending on box.
3. Carry — from the DPS list.
4. Element fillers — especially for Wrath’s per-element bonus.
5. Flex — second support or second carry based on mode.

Envy Sin equalizes damage across non-farm units, which can make wide support boards feel amazing and single hypercarry boards feel awkward. Sloth gives supports more time to apply control. Pride mostly deletes wide support plans — leave Door home or accept the one-unit fantasy.

Support investment order for Wrath chasers

1. Finish pass XP daily.
2. Claim A Beast Plays at Tier 25.
3. Claim Wrath at Tier 50 (shiny if premium).
4. Trait Fortune farm + one Evils carry.
5. Build elemental diversity before sixth random DPS.
6. Spend Wrath Coins on the familiar that matches your real board.

Common support mistakes

• Fielding Wrath with zero Evils partners
• Ignoring elemental diversity and wondering why the +50% per element never shows
• Selling your farm to ape a support screenshot
• Using all Trait Rerolls on supports while carries still sit on Range 1
• Skipping Gem Farming until you cannot afford partner banners
